Giant Leaps at Bridge2Food Summit Europe 2024
The latest edition of Bridge2Food Summit Europe took place from June 4th to 6th, 2024, in The Hague, Netherlands. As in previous editions, the Giant Leaps project had a dedicated booth.
The first day of the event focused on technical innovations and the latest developments in alternative proteins and plant-based food and drink alternatives sector. Additionally, Giant Leaps held its Stakeholder Board meeting, where stakeholders from various organizations attended a day full of networking opportunities, breakout sessions focusing on specific work packages (WPs), and concluding with a welcome reception.
The second and third days of the summit were packed with different sessions and presentations addressing the most pressing issues concerning the alternative proteins sector. Many presentations focused on the industry’s economic challenges, highlighting future opportunities and innovations in plant-based alternatives, precision fermentation, and cultivated technologies.
The Giant Leaps booth allowed us to interact with participants, network, and share information about the project, increasing awareness and visibility not only about Giant Leaps but also about the importance of shifting our diets to more sustainable and affordable alternative proteins.
